Tour Itinerary
Upon arrival at Paro Airport, our representative will assist you and drive you to Thimphu. Check in to your pre-booked hotel and refresh. Spend the rest of the day exploring nearby streets, local markets, and enjoying street food while interacting with the locals. The remainder of the day is free for your leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day guided tour of Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, BBS Tower, and Government Handicraft Emporium. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum, National Textile Museum, and National Institute of Traditional Medicine (view from outside). Note that some landmarks may be closed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). The rest of the day is free for personal activities.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Punakha, stopping en route at Dochula Pass (3,050 meters) for panoramic views of Bhutan’s stunning landscape. Upon arrival in Punakha, check in at your hotel. Refresh and spend the rest of the day exploring nearby streets, local markets, and street food. Enjoy leisure time interacting with locals.

Post-breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided tour of Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong and Lingkana Palace, which was built by the first Shabdrung of Bhutan, Ngawang Namgyel, at the confluence of the Pho Chu (male) and Mo Chu (female) rivers. Also, explore Talo Monastery and Nalanda Buddhist Institute to meet Buddhist monks and enjoy breathtaking mountain views. After your tour, you have time for shopping or returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Phobjikha, with a stop at Wangdue Phodrang to explore the local market. Continue your drive to Gangtey Monastery, also known as Gangtey Gonpa, an important Nyingmapa Buddhist monastery. Upon reaching Phobjikha, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, visit the Royal Society for Protection of Nature (RSPN) to learn about the vulnerable black-necked cranes that migrate to Bhutan each winter. Explore the informative displays on crane habitat and behavior and use the spotting scopes to view cranes in the valley. If visiting outside of winter, observe cranes being rehabilitated. Enjoy a two-hour walk around the valley, starting from a hilltop overlooking Gangtey Goemba, and traverse through meadows and forests, passing by Semchubara village and Khewang Lhakhang temple.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Paro. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and refresh. Spend the rest of the day exploring local streets, markets, and enjoying street food while interacting with locals. The remainder of the day is free for your leisure.

Post-breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided tour of Paro. Visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong), followed by a leisurely walk to Rinpung Dzong. Explore Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined fortress that once repelled Tibetan invasions. Visit Paro Taktsang, the sacred Vajrayana Buddhist monastery perched on a cliffside. Conclude the day with a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred shrines.
