Upon arrival at Colombo Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Passage Holidays representative, who will assist you with your transfer to Negombo.

Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel and take some time to refresh yourself. Later, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Negombo, visiting the Angurukaramulla Temple (Bodhirajaramaya), Negombo Dutch Fort, Negombo Beach Park, and St. Mary's Church.

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later check out and drive to Dambulla. Upon arrival at Dambulla check-in to your pre-booked hotel for night stay. After refresh yourself, later proceed for Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, treasured by many kings since the first century B.C. An icon of Sri Lanka, Dambulla Rock Cave Temple features five magnificently constructed cave temples flanking the golden temple of Dambulla. Observe the exquisite cave paintings along walls that shelter 150 statues of Lord Buddha. Also explore Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs and the gigantic Buddha statue glittering in gold, which today houses an important junction in the country's economic and cultural uplifting. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, later drive to Minneriya. Via en-route visit to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century. Rising dramatically above the plains, Sigiriya is a masterpiece of ancient Sri Lankan engineering, architecture, and urban planning. Walk through the impressive Lion Paws entrance, admire the beautifully landscaped royal gardens, and explore the fortress, once surrounded by moats and ramparts. Marvel at the world-famous frescoes, often compared to the Gupta-style paintings, and visit the Sigiriya Museum to learn about the site's history and its advanced hydraulic system that supplied water to the summit.

Later, continue to Minneriya National Park for an afternoon jeep safari. Spanning over 8,800 hectares, the park is home to large elephant herds, deer, and a rich variety of birdlife. During the famous Elephant Gathering season, visitors may witness hundreds of wild elephants congregating around the Minneriya Reservoir, making it one of Asia's most spectacular wildlife experiences.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a sightseeing tour of the picturesque hill city of Kandy. The last royal capital of the Sri Lankan kings, Kandy was ruled by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe until it came under British rule in 1815. Today, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its rich culture, history, and heritage.

Explore this charming lakeside city, nestled among misty hills, and visit the vibrant Kandy City Centre. Browse world-class brands, traditional bazaars, arts and crafts centres, a gem museum and lapidary, and the bustling Kandy Market, famous for its colourful display of fresh fruits, vegetables, and local produce.

Continue your sightseeing with visits to the Royal Botanical Garden, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the Old Royal Palace, the Sri Natha Devalaya, and the scenic Kandy Lake. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan cultural performance featuring traditional music and drumming.

After breakfast, transfer to Gampola Railway Station and board the scenic train to Nawalapitiya. Upon arrival at Nawalapitiya Railway Station, continue by road to Nuwara Eliya. This journey is part of one of the most picturesque rail routes in Sri Lanka, offering breathtaking views of lush tea plantations, mist-covered mountains, and cascading waterfalls.

Known as "Little England," Nuwara Eliya is Sri Lanka's highest hill station and one of its most charming destinations. Nestled beneath the towering Pidurutalagala Mountain, the town is renowned for its cool climate, rolling tea estates, colonial-era architecture, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Established during the British colonial period, it continues to retain much of its Victorian charm.

Continue exploring the scenic hill country, renowned for its breathtaking mountains, verdant valleys, cascading waterfalls, and lush tea plantations. Visit a local tea plantation and tea factory to learn about the fascinating process behind the production of world-famous Ceylon Tea. This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Udawalawe National Park. En route, visit Ravana's Cave and the picturesque Rawana Falls in Ella.

Upon arrival at Udawalawe, check in to your pre-booked hotel and refresh yourself. Later in the afternoon, proceed on an exciting jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park.

Udawalawe National Park is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to observe the famous Sri Lankan Elephant, the largest of the Asian elephant species, in its natural habitat. The park is home to an estimated 400 elephants and also provides excellent opportunities to spot other wildlife, including the elusive Sri Lankan leopard, the Sri Lankan sloth bear, water buffalo, crocodiles, and several species of deer and birds.

Enjoy and exploring its charming colonial streets, vibrant local markets, and scenic coastal views. Explore the historic Galle Fort, the largest intact Dutch fort in Asia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.
